Offer your clients the most advanced cranial orthopedic treatment for skull shape abnormalities. Watch the video to discover why our cranial remoulding helmets are perfect for your clients.

Unique design technology

The patented, bio-responsive, 3D printed design technology has significantly improved comfort, aesthetics and treatment efficiency to achieve very high results. The helmet is designed to be extra thin and light, reducing sweating and skin issues. It has also received the international design award, Red Dot: Best of the Best.

Based on experiences

Over 25.000 babies in 40 countries have been treated with the cranial remolding helmets from Invent Medical. Invent Medical and we have firsthand experience with the disadvantages of standard cranial remolding helmets, such as their bulky size, heavy weight and thermal discomfort. With the unique combination of clinical experience and technical knowledge, Invent Medical has designed the most advanced cranial remolding helmet, improving on all aspects.

Based on research

Several studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of cranial remolding helmet therapy. Read here the study of prof. Lipina et al. (z.d.) and the study of prof. Choi et al (2020) about the effects of the therapy. You can also read the study of Invent Medical about Talee here.

Rebuttal of research questioning helmet therapy

In the Netherlands, one study has been published suggesting that helmet therapy has no effect. We understand that this may raise questions or concerns. However, several international scientific studies show positive outcomes of helmet therapy and challenge the conclusions of this particular study. The findings of this research also do not correspond with our own clinical experience.

Our treatments are grounded in many years of clinical practice and a broad body of scientific research on helmet therapy. Commentary and critical responses from, among others, The O&P EDGE and Meredith Wright explain why the conclusions of this study do not accurately reflect the effectiveness of cranial remolding helmets.

Insightful results

Parents can view results clearly thanks to the clinical software. From generating treatment reports, saving 3D scans to tracking progress in 3D visualizations, our software does it all.

Postoperative cranial helmets

We also offer postoperative helmets. After cranial surgery in an infant, a post-op cranial remolding helmet can be used to guide the shape and growth of the head in a controlled way. At Protec, we work with the Talee post-op helmet. This helmet is specifically designed for infants who have undergone surgery for craniosynostosis or another cranial shape abnormality.

Personal stories

What do parents think?

"Our son Lucas has been wearing the Talee helmet for over two months now, and so far, the experience has been amazing! Lucas loves seeing his orthotist every time we have a check-up. We would definitely recommend this helmet to any parent who is about to start using a correction helmet for their child."
