How does a gait analysis work?
Video recording
Video images will provide you with insight into your gait and the strain on your body while walking. It can also be assessed whether adjustments are needed to your current prosthesis.
Measurement of strength
We can see how the forces are distributed over your body via a special force measurement plate. The prosthetist can use this information to align your prosthesis even better.
Feedback
You view the images together with the prosthetist or movement analyst. You can see (also in slow motion) how you move with the prosthesis and what can be improved. You can use this input for any walking training.
